When someone mentions the BACC, you are likely to hear reminiscence of how the BACC was a place to go afterschool or hangout with your friends sharing laughs, support and artistry. Beyond the arts, BACC celebrates the culture, from Black History to African Diaspora because it is important that the Black community has a place to honor heritage & tradition, that those who desire to support can learn to be better allies. For over 35 years, the work to bring awareness to Black Arts and honoring Black culture has been a steady force in the Kalamazoo Community pushed by the BACC.
