For the last 37 years, the Black Arts Festival has provided stellar music, performances, visual art, film, dance, food, and handmade items created and presented by people of color! We are dedicated to giving artist of all ages a platform to display their craft to local, state, and national audiences, offering a one of a kind cultural enriching experience.
The Impact of Black Arts Festival
Each year, the Black Arts Festival reaches around five thousand people. With this reach, youth attendees learn career related art skills and gain awareness of youth focused prganizations within our community,
we expose more of the West
Michigan population to black arts,
support local businesses, using
arts to create awareness, impact
and memories for all.
