Tatyana Fazlalizaden is an African-American and Iranian artist and freelance illustrator originally from Oklahoma. Her work featuring President Barack Obama was included in the book Art For Obama: Designing Manifest Hope and the Campaign for Change. In 2012 Fazlalizadeh gained notoriety when she began to use street art to speak out against street harassment of women, particularly on a campaign called Stop Telling Women To Smile.


Stop Telling Women To Smile will be featured at the Black Arts & Cultural Center in the Gail Sydnor Gallery beginning April 3rd until April 30th.
